Main role has been to analyze, develop and prepare the new version of platform (https://agroclimatica.com) to scale globally. With help of team and Google Cloud Platform as the main provider to achieve this goal, using BigData and Machine Learning for risk analysis.

As a tech lead, Joaz manages a complete team in charge of development and maintenance of a legacy system for a large US customer.
Responsibilities include:
Hiring and training technical personnel
Delegating work and assignments to team members
Collaborating with team to identify and fix technical problems
Analyzing users’ needs and then finding applications to serve them
Creating end goals for team
Checking that software and applications are updated
Supervising system modifications
Conducting security audits to identify areas of improvement
Guiding team through technical issues and challenges

Managed development team and architecture/design of project based on AWS, management of TCO, back end development of microservices to ingest real-time data and development of APISs as well as helping with company strategy for using technological resources, ensuring technologies were used efficiently, profitably, and securely. Also evaluated and implemented new systems and infrastructure.

Main role was to maintain the company’s client systems, as well as to propose and launch the development of new functionalities in technologies such as PHP without framework, PHP with Laravel, Python, NodeJS

Developed server-side web application logic as well database creation, integration, and management, configured web server technologies, cloud computing integration, content management system development, deployment, and maintenance, and API development and integration.

Responsible for requirements analysis, designed logical structure of website, mobile application, and database, developed different functionalities of the social network such as users’ administration, different access levels for users, post administration, comments administration, profile administration, and social network integration.
