Held the QA resource lead role to evaluate their current quality standards.  His role involved implementing and changing processes, practices, and standards in the area of developing software and deploying it to customers. Led direct reports as well as hybrid teams to foster quality practices and increase customer satisfaction.

• Established and implemented quality metrics for development work items and product releases
• Participated in the functional, unit, regression, and boundary tests for all company products and application processes (desktop, web-based, & server hosted)
• Responsible for initial quality approval for large bulk data transfer processes of new client data installs

Hired as a Senior QA Engineer to be the team lead under the current QA manager. After several years was promoted to Principal QA Test Engineer to manage almost all aspects of the QA process, reporting to the VP of Software Development.

• Involved in writing and peer reviewing test cases for new feature enhancements
• Provide input and help create and maintain test automation scripts

Hired as a QA test analyst, learned the QA process, procedures, and practices, and became a domain expert for the products created. Over the next several years, was promoted twice to QA Tech Team Lead over 7 members (5 in-house/2 off-shore) and then QA Testing Manager to oversee all aspects of the QA process and teams, both local and offshore.

• Execution of functional, unit, regression, and boundary tests for all proprietary web and desktop applications
• Involved in writing/reviewing test plans for new web-based and desktop applications
• Smoke test creation for numerous client applications to validate proper production deployments
• Organize test coverage of all client-facing applications affected by bi-monthly server patches applied
• Maintained/implemented base code changes to the latest software developments using version control software
• Part of the committee chosen to research and eventually help implement test automation tools in current test processes
• Work closely with IT project managers, development managers, and internal company client contact reps to assist in providing small and/or large testing estimates of planned development projects
