DevOps Engineer building Azure Pipelines to create artifacts, deploying alerts, deploying WebTest, and running tests of WhiteSource and Fortify. The Azure Pipelines are both classic and YAML-based.

• Building release pipelines to deploy databases, webpages, and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
• Building ARM templates to deploy alerts for SQL servers, Azure Web Apps, Azure Service Bus, and applications services.
• Automating WebTest to check the availability of Azure services.

Hardware & Software Development Leader in charge of a team of 4 in the development of 3 payment kiosks projects for 3 clients with operations in Mexico and China.

• Built and developed payment kiosks with special features for each client, such as NFC, RFID, and machine learning for face recognition. This allowed our clients to reduce operational costs by 50%.
• Developed software and firmware with C, C++, and C# to connect different peripherals to the PC. First assigned to coin hoppers, later alarms.
• Built a team from scratch to explore and effectively utilize bill acceptors and dispensers. This area was previously completely unexplored in the company.
• Improved the process of building and developing payment kiosks, allowing for a 600% growth in machines during one year.
• Improved the control of peripherals, reducing the errors of the bill dispensers and bill acceptors by 90%.

Electronics Consultant assigned to document and review the Colombian Technical Standards (NTC) for electronic devices. These devices are used in water and wastewater circuits including level sensors, pressure sensors, flow sensors, and communication modules (e.g. 4G, Bluetooth, etc).

Hardware & Software Developer created 17 different libraries for microcontrollers in C/C++, Python, Lua, Node, Node-Red for IoT electronic devices such as Arduino, BeagleBone, Onion, Raspberry Pi, and MicroChip.

• Used different communications protocols such as HTTP, MQTT, UDP, FTP, TCP, and Wireless technologies such as LoRa, LoRaWAN, XigBee, WiFi, Bluetooth, RFID, and NFC to connect electronic devices to Ubidots’ cloud.
