Luiz is a Quality Assurance Tester with over 18 years of professional experience, including 11 years as a Project Manager. He has over 15 years Manual Testing and 12 years with Automated Testing with the experience of leading, training and developing teams of up to 15 members. He is strongest with Rational Performance Test (IBM), JMeter, Rational Function Test (IBM) Selenium ID, web driver, HP QC, Load Runner and Cucumber testing tools. Along with software development, he has been working with Scrum & Agile methodologies for over 18 years. Luiz is fluent in English and has been working with US based companies where English communication was the standard.
He was responsible for the Mobile Quality Assurance Team. In this role, he trained, mentored, and oversaw the QA testing process.
He was responsible for the Quality Assurance department at Olist. Here he created a Maturity Level Assessment to understand the QA level of each Squad and trained each member accordingly.
Developed the Lupa WBS app, allowing Trello users to break cards into smaller cards and graphically list them, using PMBoK and increasing productivity by up to 40%. Built a web gaming portal, where users schedule matches and participate in tournaments, earning rankings and awards to become professional e-sports players.
Luiz was responsible for the Quality Assurance department at Genial Investimentos Broker. In this role, he designed a new life cycle test process in the company.
In this role, he was designated as the Senior Project Consultant, overseeing the QA Team. During this time, Luiz improved performance quality by designing an optimization process for IBM’s Rational Performance Test tool.
At EMD Growth Hacking, he was a PMO Manager and Head of QA. During his time here, Luiz was able to deliver and manage web, e-commerce, and mobile app projects and maintained Agile frameworks and high-quality products.
Luiz had the unique opportunity to be a Senior Project Manager for the development of software used for the Rio Olympics and Paralympic Games. Here he was the liaison with key stakeholders such as the International Olympic Committee, International Tennis Federation, Omega, Atos, Microsoft, Samsung, and international broadcasters.
