Serving as a data layer expert developing internal applications and Paas offerings for Apache Cassandra, Spark, and Kafka. Consulting with external clients to ensure successful implementations, deployments, optimizations, and ongoing support. Also, server as an Apache SME speaking at events, conferences, and writing technical articles.

Served as a data architect optimizing the Cassandra data model and tuning clusters. Wrote infrastructure code to automate deployments, testing, and configuration changes. Also, hardened cloud system security and created tools/scripts to automate forensic tasks such as tracking server changes or updating users ACLs.

Responsible for designing and building infrastructure for the internal development team. Using AWS and Chef to automate deployments, configuration management, and server administration. The main priority is to maximize uptime while ensuring the platform is stable, secure, and easy to develop with.
