Performs maintenance on a legacy application using express, NodeJS, and Postgres. Changes Elasticsearch queries, export an array JSON to XLSX, and sends it to the browser to download. Maintenance on RabbitMQ queues, cookie maintenance from the backend, and third-party API integrations, converting a small project from JS to Typescript, etc.

• General backend maintenance with NodeJS.
• Co-create and architect database tables needed in a module, and read such tables to populate a Mongo database.
• Writing PostgreSQL through the Knex library to interact with the database. Works in several versions of JavaScript including Typescript.
• Creates needed features in existing software with React.
• Reviews PRs from junior employees. Works on changing properties of cookies and using local storage.

Created, recreated and maintained software screens in a SaaS solution from the planning until the coding. Added new features and maintained existing ones in a module based application where each module would have it’s own frontend, a backend with endpoints connecting to services where the business logic would be concentrated and that interacted with the databases.

• Wrote unit tests using Mocha for several features. Worked for 6 months building a React Native mobile app.
