Akrod is a London-based micro-lending fintech that provides long-term solutions for the financially excluded.  Developed the backend services for the new app (Loal) and helped build and design the integrations with lending partner’s services. Developed and designed the new company lending app (Loal). Helped implement the CICD flow which interacted with the stores (app store/play store) for publishing the app (mainly using Fastlane).

• Developed a connector for the Fivetran data pipeline to integrate with mixpanel, bringing loads of data to the Data Science team to analyze in the Snowflake warehouse. He built this using NodeJS (typescript) and AWS Lambda.
• Developed and designed a new lending app for the Kenyan market (Kamoa). Built the mixpanel integration with the app, developed the integration with the fraud detection tool (JuicyScore), and developed and designed the feature flag backend system used in the app.

Lead Full Stack Engineer focused on leading the Technical Team and finding the most suitable solutions to build their products, design the solution architecture, helped their Product Design team design new features, and was actively involved with the backlog managing of the entire team. Build a surgery room vacancy analyzer to help the client make better use of time and correct allocation of the vacant surgery rooms.  The highlights of this project are the possibility to import and analyze past data from 2016 until the present and calculate the average time that was spent on every surgery procedure or by the combination of procedure/surgeon. With this average, he can easily recommend the best start and finish date for a surgery room.

• Developed the backend using an entirely serverless stack backed by Serverless Services (Cognito, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and AppSync).
• Developed the hospital’s first mobile application empowering patients with a new way of consuming the hospital’s services. Build a web app along with the mobile app to provide an easier way to use the same services provided by the mobile app, using a single codebase.
• Helped automate the whole development pipeline, from changelog management to app store listing.

SESI/SENAI/FIESP is a famous educational services company based in São Paulo. They’re recognized by most Brazilian industries as the best technician course provider in Brazil. At SESI/SENAI/FIESP, he performed mostly the DevOps role, supporting the DevOps pipelines of approximately 130 applications. Most of the applications were hosted in a virtualized environment backed by VMWare, but very often had to deal with new applications build using .NET core or NodeJS published in Microsoft Azure.

• Was a part of the architectural decisions of the applications, providing an adoption at an early stage of the best practices and tools for the DevOps process.
• Designed and developed the pipelines of continuous integrations and continuous delivery, making use of the best tools and practices available to the organization.
• Built and configured monitoring systems such as Microsoft System Center Operations Manager, Zabbix.
• Built a system from scratch to integrate with Microsoft Service Manager to provide an easy interface for IT users to open Change Requests, Incidents, Service Requests, and Releases from the dev team. He used MongoDB for the database, .NET Core 3.1 for the API backend, and angular 7 for the frontend.

Mid-sized Consulting Services Microsoft partner providing creative IT solutions to enable the digital transformation of customers. He started as a Senior Full Stack Engineer, led the team on important projects, and after 2 years he became the Lead Software Architect responsible for the consulting services on the SharePoint and Project Server division.

• Developed Caixa Seguro’s B2C portal, a CMS-based system that enabled a new revenue channel for the company.
• Developed Caixa Seguro’s workforce system called “Conecte” to serve as an official knowledge-based system for the entire workforce of the company (5,000 users).
• Designed a big data pipeline to ingest almost 2GB of data daily from different courts in Brazil. The main objective was to create a big data system to deliver an e-search system, providing legal content for companies interested to know where they were mentioned.
• He was in charge of the onboarding process of the engineering team, and also was responsible for mentoring trainees.
