Fernanda is a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with more than 16 years of professional experience. She has a strong background working with different technologies such as Jira, Azure, Scrum, Zephyr, Postman, Confluence, and related tools. She has been working heavily with tools for ALM like Rally, TFS and also acquired great experience in Functional Testing on the web and mobile, working with use cases and stories for a long time. Additionally, as a Manager, she has been mentoring multi-disciplinary teams of automation (10-40 people). Fernanda is an elite Senior Quality Assurance Engineer who is looking for a challenging remote contract position.
She worked as a Software Engineer in Test/Quality for T2 Systems. In this project, the testing was performed to expose defects in the interfaces and interactions between hardware and software components. She was accountable for designing test assets such as test strategy, test cases, and test plans according to the requirements and technical implementation, to ensure overall test quality and progress. During the hardware testing phase, she was responsible for testing products as part of the Service Department Team in order to meet established quality standards and assembling products with procedures within the appropriate bill of materials, performing electronic and mechanical assembly operations on both sub-assembly and finished products, performing Post Production Verification and Repair and verifying product compliance within our BOM and working with Engineering Team as required for product improvements from time to time.
She was responsible for writing and documenting test cases. She supported a team on developing a quality mindset. During this experience, she wrote test case documentation and identified strengths and weaknesses of IT systems.
