Development and maintenance of multi-tier ERP/PCP system, using Delphi, DBExpress, Report Builder, Oracle, and PL/SQL. Other duties included the development and maintenance of internal and auxiliary systems using C#, Java, and PHP and analysis of development tasks for other members of the team.

• Enhanced development efficiency by migrating that system to a newer Delphi version.
• Improved that system’s usability by extending its search mechanism and tweaking its main window.

Development and maintenance of the application used to import data of new customers into the company’s ERP system, using Delphi and Firebird. Other duties included taking care of the company’s website (using PHP and MySQL) and internal task management system (Using PHP, MySQL, MS Access and VBA).

• Learning Delphi on the job in three weeks to fulfill the company’s needs since I didn’t know Delphi beforehand.
• Boosting data-importation efficiency by refactoring that data-import application and upgrading it to a newer Delphi version.
• Increasing flexibility of the data export process by designing and developing a new data export application compatible with from multiple databases, including Firebird, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, Postgre SQL, Interbase, MS Access and DBF.
• Enhancing the workflow of the development team by suggesting and deploying the Subversion VCS.
• Improving User Experience on the company website by redoing it using of the best practices of the time, like table-less HTML 4 and using CSS2 for styling.
